RAIL
JPL is conversant with working within the rail corridor. It is a specialised, high risk working environment which we are well equipped and experienced working in. We understand the importance of working safely around the Overhead Line Equipment (OLE), Rail Services, KiwiRail protection requirements as well as ensuring we look after the existing rail infrastructure
STRUCTURES
At JPL we specialise in reinforced concrete structures including: Bridges, retaining walls, culverts, concrete & driven piles, chambers, capping beams, and columns
WATER
Our water services include flowmeter chambers, valve chambers, impact basins, pipe realignment, pipe bridges, as well as assessment & repair of flood-damaged assets
EARTHWORKS
JPL's earthworks specialisations include MSE retaining walls, slip repairs and earth works
MARINE
Our marine services include: Walkways in the coastal marine environments, sea walls, marine piling, maintenance on marine structures

We're proud to be able to provide consultations on: Budget cost estimates: Reviewing drawings, Develop a Schedule of Quantities, and Develop a Schedule of Rates/Budget estimate. Independent Reviews: Provide an independent review of contractual, design or construction matters. Design Constructability reviews: Review the design and provide a report of our findings and suggestions. Concept designs for future projects: Review the project requirements and provide a high-level design concept, as well as provide high level costing and programming of the options. Past Projects
AFR Flood Recovery
JPL worked in a collaborative contract delivery model to remediate several flood-damaged areas around the Auckland rail network with KiwiRail. It was a cost-reimbursable delivery model where JPL and KiwiRail worked together to deliver a fast-tracked, high quality, and cost-effective project.
NAL Flood Recovery
JPL subcontracted to Titan Rail and JFC Contracting to complete the construction of three piled retaining walls.
Papatoetoe Pipe Bridge
Construction of new pipe bridge and realignment of existing pipework.
Rosedale Flow Meter
Construction of an in-situ floor chamber to accommodate new valves and associated pipe work.
Sturges Road
The project involved the construction of a 160m piled retaining wall with drainage, new footpath and including excavating and back-filling.
WERO Climb
The project involved the construction of x 13no steel reinforced concrete foundation pad footings with 700mm diameter, 1m high columns for the WERO Kids Climbing Structure.
